What are you called to do? I know I am called to be a mom, wife, daughter, sister, teacher and the list goes on. Some of these callings I chose, some were chosen for me. Sometimes we are in a season and we do not really know what our calling is. Never doubt that your life has a purpose. You may not see the fruits for a long time, but do not give up on seeking to plant and find what your calling is. Your calling might not be the same for your whole life. Some of the things I do now, I would have not had the maturity or experience to do 20 years ago. I am a much better teacher now that I have raised my own children, then I was when I graduated university. God’s callings are not short sighted. Many times they are looking way down the road. We do not know what the seeds we plant today will harvest or when they will harvest. No act of generosity, compassion, love, prayer, encouragement, service or goodness will be wasted.
