I have been re-reading, The Purpose Driven Life, by Rick Warren. I wanted to share something that was powerful to me last night.
“When you think about a problem over and over in your mind, that’s called worry. When you think about God’s Word over and over in your mind, that’s meditation. If you know how to worry, you already know how to meditate! You just need to switch your attention from your problems to Bible verses. The more you meditate on God’s Word, the less you will have to worry about.”
Find a verse today that speaks life to your problem. I find one of the best ways to keep it in front of me, is to write it down. Whether that be physically, on a piece of paper, or as a note in your phone. Try to see how many times you can recite that verse today. See what kind of a difference it will make for you!
