Encouragement is a powerful thing. I know, I have written about this a few times already. I so, believe in it. Encouraging people will cost you something. It could cost you in terms of money, if you feel like you want to bless someone with a gift. I will cost you time, but I have found that a small amount of time invested, can produce a great change, in someone’s day. I have been really intentional in these last weeks, about encouraging a certain number of people a day. The amazing things is, I am blessed when I encourage them. I have been led to email, call and text, people that I may not have had contact with in a long time, however, at one time they were a part of my life. Encouragement uses the same principle as giving. In Luke 6:38 (NLT), it says: “Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” If you find you are struggling with something today, give someone else the encouragement that you need. You will be blessed when you create the encouragement for someone and by the response that you receive.
