Yesterday, I remembered why I love being a teacher. This week has been so full of changes, procedures, new routines, people struggling to cope, that it was easy to lose sight of the reason I teach. We finally got our class lists, late in the day and were asked to contact the families. I got so many positive emails back. It made me excited for the first day.
I felt prompted to think about this feeling in regards to our walk with Christ. Sometimes we are so excited to witness and tell others about Christ. Then, we get in a lull. We lose some of our enthusiasm and feel like we are not making a difference. If we are sewing seeds. Seeking out God’s purpose for our life. Listening to the prompting of the Spirit. We are making a difference for the Kingdom. There will be times of discouragement, disappointment, set backs and pain, but we serve the King of Kings. I am proud to be His child.
